ETERNAL.

HELLO

INSOLVENCY.
My name is Javier Fabregas. I am a visual artist working across animation, drawing, independent publishing, and video. My main interest is in producing incisive comments on marginal cultural production, migration contexts, ancient disruptions in a globalized world, digital absurdity, millennial misery, and the confluences between epic fantasies and suburban monotony. All of this is materialized and put into circulation through both digital and printed means. My work is influenced by a variety of streams, including disjointed narratives, 1980s horror flicks, dystopian fiction, underground cinema, black metal, and 1960s camp aesthetics.

This vision is sharpened by a parallel career in commercial visual effects and motion design, an experience that has helped me expand the possibilities of my personal projects in new media. Across formats, my work is defined by a “bizarre aesthetic”—an approach rooted in uncovering hidden or marginal cultural artifacts: digging with the conviction to reuse and reinterpret what is found under another spectrum of light.
